Monaco manager Ben Yedder has confirmed that he will be staying at the club for the long-term, and is targeting the Ligue 1 championship this season.

The French striker has been with Monaco since January 2019, and has played a key role in the team's success over the past few seasons. He scored 57 goals in 88 appearances during his first stint at the club, before moving to Real Madrid last summer.

In his latest interview, Yedder revealed that he had no intention of leaving Monaco anytime soon, despite interest from other clubs. He said: "I am happy here, I have found my home and I want to stay."

He also spoke about his ambitions for the upcoming season, saying: "I want to win the Ligue 1 championship this year, it's my goal. We have a great squad and we can achieve it together." He added: "We're working hard every day, we're trying to improve our game and make sure we're ready for the challenges ahead."

Yedder's comments come as Monaco continue to build on their impressive start to the season. The team currently sits second in the table, just one point behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain, and they have already beaten several top teams so far this campaign.
